Ok, I’ve read a micorosft article (and other things) about getting
Hibernation to work with Win98/FAT32. It talks about setting up an
additional "Hibernation partition" and assigning it 84H id. Ok, I get
the whole setting up a partition thing, that’s not hard, but how do I
assign it an ID and how do I get my BIOS to use that partition for doing
hibernation, and is that partition supposed to be FAT16? I installed
win2k on the same pc, and only because 2k wouldn’t work with some very
necessary applications I had, I removed 2k. But the hibernation function
of win2k worked flawlessly, so I have to think my BIOS is good-to-go.
Summarizing – what is the approach of getting Hibernation to work on a
win98/fat32 system?
