I just recently bought at 486-33, and downloaded a windows benchmarking
program from a local BBS. The program, WinTach, is a benchmarking program
written by TI. Its interesting in that it attempts to give a real world
usage benchmark by simulating a word processor, a spreadsheet, and a
paint program.
The only problem, though, is that on my machine WinTach dies with an
"Divide by zero or overflow error" in the word processing module. The
spreadsheet and paint benchmaking units work fine.
Has anyone else come accross this problem, or have a solution?
I’m using Windows 3.1, and running with the ET4000Turbo driver
(800x600x256).
