Re: Can not Defrag Drive C: !!

Try this, start windows in safe mode and defrag. If this does not work
start computer in pure dos mode delete applog folder in windows folder.
This should solve the problem.

    drive, this should solve the problem. If it does
    not work start the computer in pure dos mode. Go
    to windows directory and delete applog folder.

    Booting in Safe Mode just to run defrag is probably overkill. I had
    this problem till I disabled (temporarily) all the memory resident
    programs that I had added: primarily, Mcafee Vshield. Defrag then
    worked like a dream!
