I’d like to open an XML file at startup xith Notepad, but i also want to
keep Explorer as default programm for XML extension.
How can I tell my short cut in start up folder to open my xml file with
Notepad?

Add a shortcut to the Startup submenu. The command line should be:
C:\WINDOWS\NOTEPAD.EXE {filename}.XML
