I have selected the power option "Always ON". All three line items are
set to "Always on". I have no screen saver selected.
BUT, the PC eventually goes into standby, if there’s no KB or Mouse
activity for a long period [maybe 15 or 30 mins].
Thus, when I run Nero ROM Burner to copy a CD, and leave the PC to do
it’s thing, the Darn thing turns itself OFF, and the CD burner stops.
Sometimes in mid burn - producing a coaster.
What do I have to do, to keep the PC [all components] permanently ON?
Any help much appreciated.

There is probably a power manager in your BIOS, *below* the operating system
level. Get into the CMOS setup program and look for "Power options" or some
such menu item. There should be a way to disable that misguided feature.

That was EXACTLY the problem. Thank you
