does anyone know how to get rid of all the city names behind the local time
zone. it seems to confuse some of my co-workers (i know
when they see
this in a outlook calendar entry – when i send them a meeting/calendar
event:
Zeit: Dienstag, 6. Februar 2001 15:30-19:30 (GMT+01:00) Berlin, Bern,
Brüssel, Rom, Stockholm, Wien.
Just Berlin would be fine, no Bern, Brüssels, Rom and so on. I know the
information comes from the windows clock where you can set the time zone…
but all the cities are in there and i can’t delet them.
anybody?? thankx, martin, germany.

Either do that manually in the Registry at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Time
Zones
Or get the Time Zone Editor with the Windows 95 Kernel Toys
(http://www.microsoft.com/windows95/downloads/contents/WUToys/W95Kerne…)

I do not know how this is done in Windows NT. You may want to post the
question to a NT-related group like
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.windowsnt.setup
